A Note from the Publisher
LOST IN THE GLOBAL INTERNET SEA OF HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF BOOKS, how can an unknown writer get his book published? How? Form a publishing company and self-publish!
That’s what I did. Together with my spouse we wrote the memoir Millie! A Love Story, published in 2019. After four years of note-taking and living with the protagonist herself, the book, and this publisher with it, were born.
Quiet Creek Publishing (QCP) has no particular claim to fame, being the new kid on the publishing block. BUT, we have an edge over other small publishers.
We’re experienced graphic design and printing professionals with over 60 years in the sector. We design and produce the print files for our books. That helps us get right to the heart of the matter–writing, editing and marketing.
Millie’s new memoir (published this year), Millie! The Last Chapters is a recap of the first book with the addition of many intimate photos of Millie, each captioned with a quote from Millie’s blog. To broaden our reach QCP took a quarter-turn in direction, adding journals to current offerings.
Journal books are log books with ruled lines for record-keeping and note-taking. QCP has written and produced several, each with a different theme and a totally new twist. Now available on Amazon and major resellers are Movie Time Madness (old time movies), Classic Television Madness (old-time TV), My Journal (books, authors) and the soon to be released The Music Journal (songs, writers, groups). Plus more to follow!
For a closer look inside QCP, including bios, book photos, in-depth book descrip- tions and sample pages go to www.quietcreekpublications.com. Because our authors love to write, we won’t be going anywhere soon!
